Prince William being left in tears of laughter at Royal Variety Show is 'heartwarming'
Prince William was in fits of laughter while watching comedian Tom Allen at the Royal Variety Performance and fans are saying the moment is “heartwarming.”
Prince William attended the charity event with his wife the Princess of Wales. The annual event raises money for those in the entertainment industry who have fallen on hard times when it comes to money, an injury, and no longer being able to work due to getting older. William can be seen wiping tears away as he watches a routine about robots during the event next to his wife Kate Middleton.
‘Lovely’ to see Prince William laughing at Royal Variety Show, say fans
After a TikTok was posted showing the royal laughing at one of the routines, fans rushed to the comments to say how glad they were to see the future king laughing and enjoying himself.
“So heartwarming to see them having a bloody good laugh!” wrote one person.
Another penned: “Lovely to see the Prince and Princess of Wales enjoying themselves [hearts around face emoji].”

A third penned: “So lovely to see him so happy” and added a two pink hearts and prayer hands emoji.
A fourth added it was “just so nice” to see Prince William laughing during the Royal Variety Performance “after the few years he’s had with” Meghan Markle and his brother.

William is ‘determined’ to protect Kate
It comes after a celebrity body language expert, Noor Hibbert, analyzed the couple during the Royal Variety Performance. He said Prince William was giving off signals “determined to protect” the Princess. Noor explained the 41-year-old was “almost steering her like a protective father would do to a vulnerable child” and in appreciation, Kate flashed a smile in his direction.
“From what I could see from their entrance, William looked determined to protect his wife as they stepped out of the car and onto the red carpet. They never fall short of showing up looking like the picture-perfect regal couple,” he explained.
“William puts his hand on her back in a gesture that is almost steering her like a protective father would do to a vulnerable child. This shows him protecting her from the crowds and her smile back shows her appreciation.”
However, he said that William appeared “frustrated” as he was “clenching or closing his fist.” This could be from the struggles he has had with his brother, Prince Harry. Omid Scobie’s latest book, Endgame has also caused some grief for the royals since last month, too.
